The Story of Dar Bhar

Dar Bhar was born from a simple frustration,  the struggle to find truly high-quality Levantine ingredients in Dubai.

For years, every trip back to Syria or Lebanon meant returning with suitcases filled with spices, za’atar, olive oil, tahini, and pomegranate molasses. The flavors were richer, fresher, more authentic,  carrying the warmth of home and generations of tradition that felt impossible to replace.

Over time, one question kept coming back:

Why is it so difficult to find these same genuine flavors, freshness, and quality in the UAE?

That question became the beginning of Dar Bhar.

Our vision was never just to sell spices. We wanted to bring the finest ingredients from the Levant while presenting them in a way that reflects their true value, refined, elegant, timeless, yet still simple and honest.

From carefully sourced spices and freshly blended za’atar to premium olive oils, tahini, and pomegranate molasses, every product at Dar Bhar is selected with deep attention to quality, freshness, and authenticity.

But equally important to us was how these products are presented.

We believed that everyday ingredients used in our kitchens deserve the same level of care, beauty, and sophistication as luxury products. That is why Dar Bhar focused on creating packaging that feels elegant and curated while remaining thoughtful toward sustainability and respectful of Mother Earth.

As the brand grew, our products naturally became more than pantry essentials.
